Friends, family and honoured guests,
As we are a mere day away from THE BIG DAY a few final details...
1. It's Cold and Wet
George is pretty chilly so please bring a coat/scraf/blanket/wear a vest/undershirt. Earlier this week there was a bit of a torrential downpour so the farm is rather wet and marshy, if you have Wellington's or boots we'd recommend bringing them - this is a farm wedding after all!
2. Directions
The road between the airport and Blanco (the most direct route to the farm) is currently undergoing construction which means you'll have to go via town, please click here to see directions.
3. Parking
Due to the above-mentioned marsh-like nature of the farm, we have arranged parking and a shuttle service (my dad & uncle) at the La Montagne Eskom office. The complex is on Maitland street (the road leading to the farm) and there will be signage indicating where to turn.
4. The Actual Wedding
In case anyone missed it, the wedding starts at 16:30, so please be there by 16:30. The gates will be closed from 16:30-16:45, so if you're late you'll have to stew in your own regret until the gates open again ;)
